A pictogram uses pictures or symbols to represent data or information. A road sign that uses images to convey a meaning is a type of pictogram. In maths, charts that use images or symbols instead of bars are also pictograms. Hazard pictograms alert us to the presence of a hazardous chemical. Hazard Pictograms 01 is another in the series of pictogram or pictograph tabletop quiz rounds.
Being aware of and understanding the signs in some workplaces is vital for day-to-day safety. It seems that everywhere is potentially bursting with flammable objects, hazardous chemicals, and items that need to be handled with special care. To protect employees, and ultimately the public-at-large, it’s imperative that adequate signage is in place to warn and enlighten workers and visitors to possible risks.
